Liz Campbell is a part-time consultant with the EPISCenter whose primary role is to provide direction and support for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She also consults with staff regarding other treatment programs supported by the EPISCenter, particularly those funded by Medical Assistance and county needs-based budgets, and assists with the EPISCenter’s engagement of key stakeholders in the behavioral health field. In the past, she provided technical assistance for Functional Family Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, and Treatment Foster Care Oregon.
Liz is a licensed psychologist with a focus on children and families. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and, in 2002, earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Miami University in Ohio. Liz spent several years as a consultant for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services in the Children’s Bureau of Behavioral Health Services. She also worked as a BHRS evaluator and a therapist in private practice, and has taught several psychology courses as an adjunct professor.
Liz joined the EPISCenter in 2010, bringing knowledge of the state system and specific EBP's, as well as an understanding of research and mental health. In addition to consulting with the EPISCenter, Liz has a private practice in Carlisle, PA, where she provides therapy and assessment for children 13 and under.
