Dr. Stephanie Bradley is the Director of the Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Support Center (known as "the EPISCenter") at the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center at Penn State University. Her center works to ensure communities and policymakers have access to the most recent and rigorous research around what works in preventing youth substance use and other problem behaviors. She regularly meets with policymakers to discuss upstream prevention programs and practices that are effective at preventing all types of problem behaviors, including the misuse of prescription opioids. She is a member of Opioid Prevention Subcommittee of the Governor's Advisory Board for Health, and the Penn State Advisory Board for Combatting the Opioid Epidemic. Dr. Bradley earned her doctorate from the Penn State department of Human Development and Family Studies, where she focused her studies on prevention science, adolescent development, and program evaluation.
